May Mission of the Month
Gretna Glen Camp & Retreat Center
The year 2023 was a blessing to Gretna Glen. Thirty-two school groups were served with 2,937 teachers, chaperones and students exploring nature on Gretna Glen’s 200 acres. Many day and overnight groups spent time at Gretna Glen throughout the year.
Summer camp continues to break records with 1,293 camper registrations last summer from 367 families. Cornwall UMC collects “noisy” offerings the 2nd Sunday of each month to provide scholarships for the children of our church who attend Gretna Glen. The Carrie Lodge/Health Center is the next improvement project at Gretna Glen. They are still seeking volunteers, supplies and donations for this much-needed building project. It is a blessing to offer our donations to such a
fine mission in our own backyard!
